Copy the forgiveness part of the practice onto a separate piece of paper and put it where you'll do the evening part of the practice. When it is time to go to bed, think of someone whom you're having trouble forgiving. As you think of that person or anyone else that you have anger or resentment toward, say the forgiveness statement out loud, or the simpler, “I bless you, I love you, I forgive you, I release you.”

What good do you want most in your life? Create a gratitude statement as though you've already received this good and state it right after the forgiveness mantra above.

Transfer the forgiveness mantra and gratitude statement to a card that you can put in your wallet. Write, “I bless you, I love you, I forgive you, I release you.” Below that, write your gratitude statement, “Thank you, CSO, for ________________________________________________________.”

Each time the person whom you hold anger or resentment toward comes to mind, pull out the card and read the forgiveness mantra and gratitude statement a minimum of five times.

As your good manifests, update your gratitude statement to receive higher and greater good.
